2021-2022 Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador

“Hello to all Graphic 45 friends!

My name is Larissa.

I live in the German metropolis of Hamburg with my husband and five-year-old son.

I came to scrapbooking over seven years ago through cardmaking. But my passion changed to photo albums very quickly. Meanwhile, I also have a lot of fun with 3-D objects and home decor creations.

Paper art influences my free time a lot. I enjoy to make videos for tutorials, process videos and overviews of projects. I like to find my inspiration from the collections, but also from everyday life.

I got to know Graphic 45 collections right at the beginning of my hobby. Since then I have been a fan and always fascinated by the designs and the assortment. So I am very happy to be part of the team now. Many thanks to the Graphic 45 team!

This is my first design team project for Graphic45 and I’m totally excited to introduce it to you.

Magic Cage

I used two collections for this project: Fairie Dust and Fairie Wing. Through these two collections I got my inspiration for this project.

Since I love to make home decor and 3D objects, I also wanted to create something like this for the a “Self-Portrait” project. I hope you like it.

In the video you can see an overview and the tutorial for the Magic Cage.

Have fun with it.

-Tips-

  • Further beautiful effects can be achieved if decorations made of plastic foil are introduced into the composition. Thus, they are reflected when the cage swings in breezes.

  • For moving elements (for example, fairies), they can be attached to a pressure spring from defects ballpoint pen. So you appear as if they are flying in the air!  #

  • I like to decorate the composition with additional wet media. Sometimes also with glitter. So they get individuality and more effects.

  • Three-dimensional effect can be achieved by layering foam tape, or cardboard between the layers. In addition, you can make it more impressive by inking the elements.  This creates additional shade.

  • Toppings are part of almost every project. For example, you can add sequins, holographic confetti, microbeads and splashes of color to the composition. It’s fun and looks good!
