Hello G45ers!
Today we’re making waves with a bold and beautiful project — a Mini Tag Book created with our vibrant Seas the Day paper collection. This step-by-step video tutorial by Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Paul Ford, shows you how to turn tags into a striking little album filled with pockets, inserts, and seaside charm. Whether you’re crafting summer memories, travel journals, or simply love working with tags, this project is the perfect blend of fun and functionality. Grab your favorite papers (any collection works!) and create along with us.

“Hi everyone. Well to say I’m shocked to be writing this is an understatement and I am just as surprised as you are that I am writing this. When I first began as an Ambassador I didn’t expect to complete a second year so when I got the email inviting me to be a part of the 2025/2026 team, I jumped at the chance. So here I am, ready and waiting to go. So if you didn’t know already, I’m Paul and from a little village in West Wales, living in the shadows of a mighty medieval castle. I started crafting as part of my day job as a Primary School Teacher and got caught down the rabbit hole of crafty YouTube videos. I started experimenting with ideas and my enjoyment grew and grew.
I like card making and album making. I like clean and bold lines and tend to stay away from messy media!!! I’m one of those strange ones who loves fractions and measuring which comes in handy when I’m designing albums. I like to maximise paper use and add a quirky touch or two.
Having seen the new changes and new products coming from Graphic 45, I’m excited to get going and hope you will join me on my journey once again.
Seas the Day Tag Book
Tutorial by Paul Ford
Hello everyone and welcome to my next Graphic 45 Ambassador Project. Those who know and follow me will tell you that I love the G45 Tags. I also love making mini books. So I am combining both of these and making a book that is sized to fit the tags perfectly! They act as an insert to the pocket pages. I have used the new Seas The Day papers to decorate it. They are bold and striking. Very bright with fun images. Hope you enjoy.”

Crafting Tips & Inspiration
Maximize Paper Use: Don’t be afraid to use offcuts — tags are perfect for layering small scraps into bold accents.
Mix & Match Collections: While Paul used Seas the Day, this project adapts beautifully to any Graphic 45 line — think Warm Wishes for Christmas, Grow with Love for spring, or Curiouser & Curiouser for whimsical flair.
Tag Inserts: Use tags as interactive pull-outs to add journaling, photos, or quotes — they give your album personality.
Keep It Clean & Bold: Paul loves crisp lines and careful measuring. A scoreboard and ruler will keep your pages polished and professional.
Add Quirky Touches: Try fussy cutting a few standout images to tuck into pockets for extra dimension.
