Midnight Masquerade Matchbook Box

 “The shakers are the most popular trend nowadays. So I thought why wouldn’t try it not just for the cards?

 

Never guess what is hidden inside, however,  it’s a good chance to create a box that keeps something secret.

 

I put the card with a quote “ There‘s a Little Mystery hiding inside every woman”. So very true, so that I thought it would be a great background for it, isn’t it?

 

 

I used the  Staples Matchbook box, and it has a window – so perfect for any shaker. I covered it with an acrylic film and put the sequins inside. My color choice was determined by the colors of Midnight Masquerade collection.

 

 

I made a beautiful frame for it using the paper and the die cut and embellished the shaker window with the flowers and the fussy cutting images

 

 

I played with the layers and foam mounted some of the images for a more dimensional look.

 

 

I also used the colored feathers, I kept them for almost 10 years, finally, they came out from the box, and they match the mask perfectly.

 

To open the box easily – I added Antique Metal Door Pull, that I placed on the top of it.

Tips:

1. Epherema Cards can be used as photo mats.

2. Epherema Cards when fussy cut and layered together create a great way to make embellishments for page layouts or card fronts.

3. Epherema Cards can be used for cards, layout journaling, or to add to pockets.

4. Fussy cut two like images from Epherema Cards or from pattern paper; layer together to form embellishments.

5. Using tags, pockets, and chipboard pieces creates quick and easy embellishments for pages and tags.

6. Decorate fronts and backs of each pocket insert and tag to have extra places for photos and memorabilia.
