Mixed Media Meets Steampunk Sea

Hello, G45ers!

It is time to think outside the box, and in new dimensions, what kind of project would represent you?  Perhaps an album, maybe a pop-up card, or an off the page project?  Today, we are thrilled to introduce Creative Genius, Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Marina Ignatova.  For Marina's #G45Selfie project she has created a Mixed Media Canvas that captures her beautifully.  Be sure to check out all the layers and details each packed with meaning and purpose.  We love that Marina has used a fan favorite retired collection, Voyage Beneath the Sea, it is always nice to see an old friend.  We hope this piece inspires you to add some personal details to your next project and when you do be sure to share your creation with us on Instagram using the #Graphic45 hashtag.

Marina Ignatova – Russia

Graphic 45 2020-2021 Brand Ambassador

Hello, creative scrap fans! My name is Marina Ignatova and I'm from Russia. I live in a small town called Maykop. I have a wonderful family: husband and two sons who adore my projects. So happy and honored to become a part of the talented Graphic 45 Team!

Now I will tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a creative programmer. And I feel that all of technical in my soul will be ousted by an inspired scrapbooker sooner or later. Although there is no) Until there is a perfectionist inside me, the probability of this is still small. But I will try to combine both sides of them equally.

Also I can sleep less! Due to this I can create in my pleasure all night long ) The main things are having an idea and pleasing Muse beautiful and high-quality materials. Generally I love this quality in myself and hope someday the science will come to make the most the half of our lives under the blanket.

I do not like to spend time on photography works and even more do not like photo processing. It's easier for me 4-5 days to make a great album with lots of pockets and secrets than spend several hours to share it with readers in the best light) Often I think about how I don't have enough fairies or gnome-assistant)))

I'm a fan of albums. I like big and mini, multi-part, unusual, memorable and catchy soul albums. But in my creations there are not only them. I am for diversity and development therefore, I always try to create something new) I love to create without limits. Today I can think about pop-up, tomorrow I will colour the whole desk and myself, cover topping and glitter everywhere! In a day I can create altered projects) I think that in your team I will reveal even more and realize a lot of my extraordinary ideas)

Inspiration to you, friends!

Mixed Media Canvas

By Marina Ignatova

Hi friends! My first project as brand ambassador Graphic 45! It is very exciting, responsible and at the same time incredibly joyful, because I am happy to be here!

So, my “self-portrait”. I think many will be surprised not to see my photo here, but wait a minute, let's speculate. This project is a greater reflection of me than it might seem at first glance.

To begin with, I adore Graphic 45 paper and I am a fan of mixed media. Agree, this combination looks insanely winning!

Further, my name is Marina and it translates as "sea". Therefore, the theme is simply obvious! This is one of my favorite scrapbooking topics.

As a programmer by profession, I have a certain liking for technology, which is why gears and steampunk paper style reflect this.

As a creative person, I believe that a self-portrait may not have a direct photo of you.

After all, with the help of paper, paints and various other materials, I can tell you more about myself)) Have a nice meeting!” ~Marina
