Mother Goose Pop Up Book

By Tanya Cloete

“Hello dear G45ers!

I am happy to share my take on the July #G45PopUp challenge. I created a Pop Up Book featuring the gorgeous Graphic 45 Mother Goose Deluxe Collector’s Edition.

Such a fun collection for this type of project.

I created this book with a little help from my Silhouette Cameo machine, details provided below.

Herewith the Supplies and Instructions you may use to recreate such a project:

G45 Supplies Used:

Mother Goose – Deluxe Collector’s Edition

Other Supplies used:

Silhouette Cut Files:

3D Pop Up Princess Castle Card by Lori Whitlock Design ID 39780

A2 Party Pop Card by Lori Whitlock Design ID 119996

Pop Up Present Card by Sweet Afton Design ID 75538

Star Shape Cutting Dies

Scoring Board

Double Sided Tape

Adhesive Foam Squares

Ribbon

Cut the album cover as well as the other three album pages from the pattern sheets in the collection measuring 30 cm x 15.5 cm each. Fussy cut some elements from the collection to create the pop up. Die cut some star shapes (to be used on the first album page ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’).

Cut the inner pages (pop up) for the album from the Silhouette, with cut files mentioned above. These should measure 28 cm x 14.5 cm each. Score the album pages in half using a scoring board.

Fold the inner pages on the perforated lines accordingly. Adhere to the album pages with double sided tape. Repeat the process for the other pages below.

Add some ribbon to the front and back of the album cover.

Optional: I added some fussy cut elements from the adorable Penny’s Paper Doll Family collection.

Adhere the fussy cut elements to the pop up pieces with the adhesive foam squares.

Tip: the adhesive foam squares will provide extra dimension.

Thanks for stopping by!”
