It is a great day to make an album. Today on the blog, Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta teaches us how to create a Catch of the Day Wrap Around Album from scratch. Wrap Around Album with Catch of the Day

“Hello everyone,

This month is my time to make my version of something from the G45 club kit, so i choose the wrap around album by Annette Green. It’s a fun album and easy to make.

For this one i change the collection and instead of the Nature Notebook Deluxe Collectors Edition i use the new collection Catch of the Day. Well… you have to check this collection yourself, it’s so gorgeous, i love it!! I use almost a bit of everything: papers, journaling cards, stickers, chipboards and ephemera die cuts. In the end of the post you can check the full tutorial and all the materials i used.

So let’s see how my album turned out:

Tip: Grab some of the tiny chipboards and a Key from Graphic 45, combine with other things like ribbon, gears, anchor or other things that you have… i put everything together with a chain from Tim Holtz.

Can you see the combination of cards, chipboards and die cuts to decorate the cover and pages of the album. I also use the stickers, check here:

I use the journaling cards on each pockets with two tips of ribbons. The blue ribbons on the cards and on the cover to keep the album closed, are ribbons known as “Saris” from Sara (Sara Ferret).

Tip: And one of the strip stickers combined with a round (or other) chipboard. A very simple and beautiful way to decorate a pocket.

Tip: Combine different chipboards, harmoniously on top of each other, to decorate your cover. How simple and beautiful is this?

Especially if you don’t like or don’t want to fussy cut elements to the cover. Sometimes you just want a steady and practical cover to use over and over again, without worrying about damage your work. So chipboards are a huge help, you don’t have more hard and beautiful embellishment than this!!
