Perpetual Calendar
By Einat Kessler

Hi, dear crafty friends!

Einat here with a new project! I can’t believe 2017 went by so fast and it’s already 2018. There are a lot of events, birthdays and dates to remember this year and if you’re like me you need somewhere to write them all. I came up with a great idea for a calendar that will not only be good for this year but forever!

A perpetual calendar is a type of calendar that only has the months and not the days. This way you can list your important dates in a list form on the relevant month and you’ll always remember them!

I created this calendar with the amazing Place in Time collection. All you need to create it is 13 pieces of cardboard and a binding system. Everything else you need is already on the papers!

Here’s the tutorial:

Check out How to Make a Perpetual Calendar by Einat Kessler on Snapguide.

How to Make a Perpetual Calendar

Tip #1: When creating a bound project always design first and bind later. This way the design will look part of the paper. But don’t forget to leave a margin for the binding rings.

Tip #2: When you want to use a specific paper collection in a project adjust the size to the papers. For example, I cut the base cardboard pieces in a size that will fit the main element from each of the papers.

Have fun creating!” ~Einat

“I love mini diaries and one of my wishes was to have one for each season of the year so I started to select the papers I was going to use from my Graphic 45 Collections.

It is very difficult to choose them because they are so pretty and  I love them all!

I also made a basket to keep them together so I can see all the seasons in a single trip. I love to look at the covers that move me to each of them.” ~Marina Blaukitchen
