Quick & Easy Foam Flower Tutorial

 

Hello G45ers!

  Are you looking to elevate your projects with Quick and Easy Handmade Flowers?  Well, we have just the tutorial for you!  Today Sandi Nagel shares two how-to videos on creating your own floral embellishments, one video in English, and the other in Spanish.  These flowers are created using our Flower Die, inks, and a few other supplies, and look great on Handmade Cards, Mini Mini Albums, and Scrapbook Layouts.  We encourage you to try this tutorial out for yourself, and when you do be sure to share your results with us on our Graphic 45 – Official Community Page.  

 

 

Quick and Easy Foamiran Flowers

“Hello, G45ers! Today I bring you a Foamiran Flowers Tutorial, using your dies and inks from Graphic 45.  This tutorial is quick and easy and shows you another method on how to make beautiful, dimensional flowers, using your supplies from Graphic 45.

 

In my tutorial, you’ll notice that I make one size of flowers; however, your Graphic 45 Large Tag, ATC Tag and Flowers die-set provides you with several different sizes in flower dies that you can use.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You’ll also notice that I use the same size die-cut to make my foamiran flower. I don’t find it necessary to use several sizes to make one flower; but you can always experiment. 

 

Use your “freshly cut” foamiran flowers to embellish a number of projects.  I decided to use mine on a feminine greeting card.

 

 

 

Listed below are all the supplies that I used to make my quick and easy foamiran flowers and greeting card:

• Graphic 45 Large Tag, ATC Tag and Flowers die-set (for flowers and leaves on card)

• ColorBox Graphic 45 Decades Ink – Precious Pink

• Graphic 45 Verdant Blossoms sheet – Floral Shoppe Collection (on card) – retired

• Graphic 45 Matte Pearl Gems (on card)

• Die-cutting Machine
• Foamiran
• Prills
• Sponge Dauber
• Heating Tool
• Wet Glue
• Hot Glue
• White Card Stock
• Double-sided Tape
• Dies from my stash
• White thread
• Laser-cut chipboard embellishment
