Explosion Box with Home Sweet Home

By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta

“Hello everyone,

This month, the challenge of Graphic 45 for me was to re-create/ make my version of a Club G45 Project. So I choose and use as inspiration: The Explosion Box from the talented Annette Green, and I made my box with a twist. In my version, you will see I used the graphic 45 folder die to create my pages inside the box and instead of the Bird Song of the original project I choose Home Sweet Home Collection. Take a look at my finished box!! I hope you love it as much as I do!!

You can find the project sheet of the original project here: Explosion Box & Origami Envelopes Club G45 – Vol 3 2020 At the end of this post you will have both video tutorials to follow along!!

This box was so easy and fun to do, the papers are bright and colourful and easy to use. I love all the tiny vegetables that we can fussy cut and add to create dimension and interest in every page.

Tip: To add more dimension with your fussy cutted elements, use some 3D foam and you will see they will pop up the page!! You can add as much or as little dimension as you want. If you want big pop of the page add two pieces of 3D foam one on top of the other. Here i add 3D foam on the back of the flowers and some flowers and leaves i cut off and add two 3d foam and i glue right where i want them to be!!

You can see I use some tiny chipboards they are from the brand studio prosto nebo, they look nice and complement the beautiful fussy cut element papers from the collection. I also use some of the G45 ink pads to colour some parts if the chipboards.

You can see almost every paper combine with the other, the Frames on front of the folders look so nice and you can use them to slide some cards with the name of the type of recipes: one folder for appetizer One for soup and so on.

And now, inside of the folders you don’t have space for a big amount of recipes but think that you will not want to use this special box with the everyday recipes, you have to use it for the awesome and unique generation to generation family recipes!!

And now tell me, is it or isn’t it a very good piece to decorate your home!! I love it!!

I hope you liked my project, I had a lot of fun.

So follow me now in my Youtube video tutorial, so you can make one explosion box just like this one!!
