Shaker Tutorial – Box with Little One

By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta

“Hi everyone!

“Today I want to share with you my how I decorate the cover of the new Album in a Box from Graphic 45. I choose the Little One collection and I prepared a big shaker to go on top of my cover with lots of sequins and beads. I just love shaker, so once in a while I have to make one!! I also pick some die cuts from the ephemera pack assortment, this is always a great addition to any project, they are always ready and pre cutted, you just have to choose what you like a put some 3D foam to add dimension. And inside do you want to see? Just come with me with this amazing new products from Graphic 45, and let’s create together and have fun!!

This collection has also some amazing elements on the design that you can fussy cut. Since this is my second project with this collection, and in my first project i used up a lot of die cuts, now I didn’t have many left so I decided to fussy cut clothes to decorate.

Look how fun this is with all this amazing colours on my flowers and inside my shaker!! I love it!! This box is a great product to prepare something special to someone who is expecting a baby per example, as a gift to put the first photos, or also you can decorate the box inside and put something like a pair of little baby shoes. Because you know, this amazing album in a box has the inside pages not glued to the box, so if you want, you can use it only as a box, like I did. Let’s see how it looks inside!!

Do you see this little bunnies and stars? This is from the stamp pack for this same collection. After stamping I used the ink from the graphic 45 ink pads to colour inside with a tiny paint brush. How cute is that?

TIP: This is a good way to decorate this part of the box without using paper, because this is the place where the box has the magnet, and you don’t want to cover this part with too many papers to prevent the magnet from losing its strength to close.

I hope you find this inspiring. If you create something special for you or for someone special share with us!! And now just take a look of my quick tutorial to see the process of creating this shaker!! Enjoy!”
