Christmas Shaker Album Cover with Christmas Time

By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta

“Hello everyone,

It’s almost Christmas, did you already made your album to preserve the photos of your family this year? You have to!! All the memories that we keep in our albums will remind us of all the moments spent together as a family, with more or less friends, but always with a lot of love.

This year i grab my mixed media album and my Christmas Time collection and i thought it could be interesting to turn it into a beautiful and velvety album with a very shiny shaker with lots of sparkle!! I loveeee to put sparkle in my Christmas projects!!

I combined the gorgeous Christmas Time collection papers, with some green antelina and chipboard shaker with gold shaker diamonds from Kora projects, some holly tiny chipboards from Scrapiniec, a flower from Prima Marketing, micro beads from finnabair, some red glitter cardstock and many embellishments from my stash. Let’s see what it looks like!!

Don’t you love some glitter and sparkle everywhere on your projects, specially on Christmas ones!! I love it, i add some gold micro beads from Finnabair and gold glitter from my stash here and there, not too much, not too little!! i also use some crystals from prima marketing. And look at the beautiful holly leafs from graphic 45 papers that i fussy cut and add between layers, they are amazing when you fussy cut them.

Tip: Use Glossy accents to highlight the album title like i did here on “Christmas Time” title that i fussy cut from the papers. I also put some on the holly berries.

The clock behind the shaker is from the signature paper of this collection, i add some of the leftovers of the red glitter cardstock that i use to cover the shaker, to point out each hour on the clock, like tiny triangles. The little details are everything don’t you think?

I hope you liked my project, I had a lot of fun. Just have to start taking a lot of pictures to fill this gorgeous album with memories!!

So follow me now in my Youtube video tutorial, so you can make you own shaker and also learn how to cover your album with antelina and graphic 45 papers!!
