Come One, Come All Shaker Tag

“Hey G45ers – I do love a tag! They are so versatile and I love that when I’m feeling the need to create but I don’t have much time then a tag is always a quick and easy project for me to tackle!

I’ve used Come One Come All to make a shaker tag. Not that you can see a lot of the shaker on the finished article but I do know it’s there! Why don’t you make it along with me?

Shaker Tag Tutorial – Come One, Come All – by Cal Summers

The first thing I did was grab my supplies – I used the 8×8 paper pad, a G45 black tag, some G45 inks and my G45 tag die. I also used a little acetate and sequins for my shaker as well as some ribbon for finishing touches.

I cut out a back and a front for my tag with the die from patterned paper, then a further tag shape for the top of the shaker. Finally, I cut a tag shape from acetate. I inked the edges of my tag shapes.

To make my shaker I added my tag shape die cut onto my G45 tag front and back then glued down some clear foam strips underneath where my third tag shape would go in the shape of a frame.

I cut a frame into this third piece of tag shaped patterned paper. I filled the foam shape with sequins and adhered the tag shaped piece of acetate on top of that enclosing my sequins. I glued the third tag shape with the frame cut into it on top of that.

Once I had my shaker I fussy cut lots of images from the patterned paper and layered them up to create my tag.
