Shaker Box and Tag – #G45LightSide

By Kavi Tha

“Hello, G45 fans,

Today I am sharing a fun little set of shaker boxes and tag using the soft and gorgeous Baby 2 Bride collection. Shaker elements always add a wow factor to your project and excite everyone who sees it, regardless of the age. This little box also has a little surprise inside which I will show at the end of the post, first let's see how to create shaker elements.

Cut eight pieces of the circle using kraft cardstock, glue them together using clear glue. Make sure to stick each layer well without any gaps to avoid the shaker elements coming out.

For the top layer(closer) cut the circle die with cardstock and matching pattern paper, stick them over an acetate sheet using glossy accents

For the base cut a plain circle in both kraft cardstock and pattern paper and glue them together and stick the shaker part to it.

Now fill them with fun little things like sequins, micro beads, glitters or anything you wish. Make sure to spread them evenly before gluing the top layer.

Finally close it with the top acetate layer with clear glue and your shaker element is ready.

I decorated the box and tag with chipboard, fussy cut flowers, die-cut leaves and flowers.

The beautiful baby images and flowers are from older collection “Precious Memories”

So here is the surprise, the little box has three tiny boxes inside to store some precious things for the baby.

I also made a cute tiny star shaker element for the box using the same technique, isn't it cute?

I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial and project for today.

Happy crafting!”

~Kavi
