#SimplyG45 – Wedding Cards
“Summer is a season for weddings, no doubt. Sometimes you’re invited and you have a chance to make a wedding card for your friends or relatives.
My suggestion is to use some soft and feminine papers, make some simple fussy cutting, add just a few flowers if needed, and you’re done with a beautiful handmade gift.
I made 2 simple wedding cards. To separate the layers from each other, I added the stitching between them, and I mounted the other layers on a foam pad. You can skip these steps, but I like when the cards look more dimensional.
I also cut out the square frame images from the paper shee. Even though it is not full, it works great for adding a layer and as a place for the sentiment.
I cut out the flower images and I keep the nude color combo to reach the delicacy and the soft mood of my cards.
To make the cards to look more festive, I used banner dies to cut out my sentiment perfectly. It always work great.” ~Elena Olinevich
