A Little Album Filled with Big Memories
Scenic Route Tag Mini Album | Graphic 45
By Creatively Michelle
“There is something so special about creating a project that tells a story in the simplest way.
Today I’m excited to share this adorable Tag Mini Album created with the beautiful Scenic Route collection from Graphic 45. This little album may be compact, but it’s filled with heartfelt memories, vibrant colors, and plenty of layers that make each tag feel like its own tiny scrapbook layout.
For this project I used the Graphic 45 Tag Album Kit along with the coordinating Metal Tag Die to cut patterned papers directly from the Scenic Route collection. I love how everything coordinates perfectly, making it easy to mix patterns while creating a cohesive album from beginning to end.
The moment I saw this collection, I immediately knew it would be perfect for vacation photos.

Inside you’ll find some of my favorite pictures of my sweet nephew Liam during our family vacation in Playa del Carmen. His curious little expressions, bright smiles, and adventurous spirit were the perfect inspiration for this album. Every tag captures a small moment—from exploring tropical gardens to simply enjoying the beauty of being together as a family.
One of my favorite things about working with tag albums is that every page becomes its own little canvas. I layered die cuts, florals, citrus accents, frames, and sentiment pieces to create lots of dimension while still allowing the photographs to shine. A few tiny gems add just the right amount of sparkle—my favorite finishing touch that always brings a project to life.
The Scenic Route collection combines rich Mediterranean blues, warm citrus oranges, beautiful florals, and classic tile patterns that instantly transport you somewhere sunny and relaxing. Every page feels like a postcard from vacation.
Although this album is simple in construction, it is full of personality, making it a wonderful way to preserve special memories without creating a large album.
I hope this project inspires you to pull out those vacation photos you’ve been saving and turn them into something you’ll enjoy flipping through for years to come. Sometimes the smallest albums hold our biggest memories.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and sharing this creative journey with me. Your encouragement and support always inspire me to keep creating and sharing projects that celebrate life’s beautiful moments.
Happy Crafting!”

G45 Tips: Make More with Tags
- Turn tags into album pages. Tags aren’t just for gifts! Connect several with a ring or ribbon and you have an instant mini album base. Graphic 45 Tag Staples come in four sizes and two colors, giving you plenty of options for albums, cards, photo mats, gifts, and more.
- Use coordinating dies for a perfect fit. Michelle uses the coordinating Square Tag Metal Die to cut Scenic Route patterned papers to fit her tags. It’s a quick way to get clean layers while letting your favorite patterns shine.
- Look beyond the collection theme. Scenic Route may be inspired by Mediterranean travel, but its citrus, florals, rich blues, and cheerful patterns work beautifully for everyday memories, family photos, summer projects, birthdays, and more. Try choosing papers by color and pattern rather than theme—you may discover combinations you never considered before.
- Treat every tag like a mini scrapbook layout. Start with your photo, add a few layered embellishments, then finish with one special detail. A gem, ribbon, dimensional accent, or tiny sentiment can be all you need.
- Let the photos lead. With a small album, you don’t need to fill every inch. Give your favorite photos room to shine and use embellishments to frame the memory rather than compete with it.
