Season of Joy Altered Frame

By Katelyn Grosart

Hey G45 Fans! I love creating Christmas home decor and I while I was out at on of our local vintage shops, I found this perfect frame. To alter the frame, I used the new Seasons collection and ended up creating this beautiful Christmas altered frame. This home decor piece is perfect to display in your own home or give as a gift to a friend or loved one. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite Christmas beverage and enjoy the photos and tutorial of my Season of Joy Altered Frame”.

Tip:Cut elements from the Ephemera Cards and layer them in amongst fussy cut images from the patterned paper.

Tip: With the top right and bottom left corners embellished with fussy cut images, to finish the center ephemera card, add a photo corner sticker in the top left hand corner of the card.

Tip: Ink the edges of your fussy cut images to make them lightly pop off one another.

Tip: Layer lots of different flowers together to add dimension in the top right hand corner.

Tip: Add texture and dimension to a card design with ribbon, flowers, and textiles.  The faux canvas bow is topped with burlap string and burlap primroses from Petaloo.  I also tucked a couple of burlap leaves into the mix to add to the rustic feel of the card.
