“The Graphic 45 card kits are a great source of inspiration, and I was inspired by the use of the G45 tags and card bases in the Card Kit Volume 7 2022.

I used the adorable Charmed collection to create my version of these fun cards.

-Step by Step Tutorial-

I used the cream card bases from Graphic 45 as my base and the regular ivory tags.

I scored the tags from ½ “ from the bottom and placed a strong double-sided adhesive on the inside of the flap. I put the tag centred-ish on the front and adhered it in place. Now I have a flap on the front of my card base.

I cut one of the patterned papers down to 4 & 5 ¼ “ and adhered it to the front of the card base (and behind the attached tag).

I die-cut the patterned paper I wanted on the front to the tag using the regular tags die and cut the die-cut piece so that it measured about 5” length-wise.

For an even more vintage look, I inked the edges of every piece of paper using the Graphic 45 Classic Black ink pad.

To keep the tags folded (or closed), I adhered a ribbon to the back of the card using double-sided adhesive. I cut the ribbon to 11-10”, which was more than I needed. I then pull the ribbon through the grommet once and again to create a closure. You could, of course, also tie a ribbon if you prefer.
