Alice’s Tea Party Tag Book Tutorial
By Cal SummersÂ

“Hey G45ers –
Did you know there’s an amazing resource on the G45 Blog? Past classes for all the kit clubs that are available for anyone to use?
Â
For the leveled up project I chose to level up the Kaleidoscope Staggered Tag Watercolor Album by Annette Green which you can find here
Club G45 2019 – Vol 07 – Kaleidoscope
Â
For my project I used
Alices Tea Party 12 x 12 Collection Pack https://g45papers.com/product/alices-tea-party-12×12-collection-pack/
Large Kraft Tags https://g45papers.com/product/large-tags-kraft/
Ivory Trading cards https://g45papers.com/product/artist-trading-tags-ivory/
Classic Ivory Trim https://g45papers.com/product/classic-ivory-natural-linen-trim/
I also used my Tag dies but you can decorate without as Annette did https://g45papers.com/product/regular-tag-and-gears-dies/
Â
Â
I followed Annette’s tutorial and scored the tags and folded up to make pockets. I decorated the tags with patterned paper using my die and in my video I show you how you can make a long die cut with a short tag die – but if you follow Annette’s original class you don’t need to use a die at all.

It was in my decorating that I actually did change from Annette’s beautiful album.
Â
For my decorating I used a technique I like to use a lot. Because we get two images i.e two sheets of each paper we can fussy cut one image to lie on top of another to get a real 3D effect. I like to use spare bits of chipboard rather than foam to layer my images up but foam will do well!
Â
Take a look at all my pages here to see how I decorated.
