Circle Mini Album Tutorial
By Kavitha
“Hello, G45 fans,
Today I have an adorable project to share using the very gorgeous Fairie Wings collection. Angels and flowers are my absolute favorites. I really wanted to make something magical so after a lot of contemplation, I decided to make a mini circular book with magical garden compositions. It doesn’t have to be useful all the time right? Sometimes we just have to make art for our pleasure, so instead of a scrapbook, I made this into a fairy book that I can just keep for myself to see and enjoy.
I made a layered composition on each page with fairies as the main element. I used lots of fussy cutting and chipboard pieces to build my composition
Journal cards came in handy to make a focal point
This mini has just four pages, let’s see how to make the binding part. Cut one cardstock measuring 2 by 3 1/2 inches and another one measuring 2 ½ by 3 ½. Score at ¾ inch from both the sides. You will get two pieces like this, glue both of them together. This is basic measuring, you can add any number of pages by increasing ½ inches breadthwise.
Cut circular shapes in both cardstock and pattern paper. Make a cut on one side for binding
Stick each page to the hinge as shown. Once it dried you can stick the pattern papers to it.
Decorate the pages using fussy cut images, journal cards, die cuts, and chipboard designs.
I hope you liked this idea, let me know your views.
Happy crafting!”
