Summer Travel Album with Sun Kissed

By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta

“Hello everyone,

Are you a summer lover? I know I am. I can tell you that my favorite seasons are the summer because of the sun/vacations, and the Christmas time because of all the warm feeling of this occasion.

So I just prepare my new graphic 45 travel album in black, for all the memories of summer. I choose Sun Kissed because I have two boys and I just love all the colours and the kids playing on the papers of this collection. So beautiful, fun, and easy to work with, love it!!

So here I show you some photos with all the details inside and out.

I usually make my travel albums more simple so I can take them with me in my bag, but this time I couldn’t help myself and I just add layers of fussy cut elements from the papers, and other embellishments.

The black travel album looks great for matching the bright colours of this fantastic collection that really calls the sun and the beach. For the books inside I pick some elements that I fussy cut, some chipboard, the ephemera cards are also great to add some interest on the background too, and you can choose one side of the other.

In this case, on the cover of the first book, I use the back SIDE that it’s not so busy because I wanted to add many things on top. This turtle really pops on this chipboard frame don’t you think.

A little bit of ribbon also adds a lot of personality on your projects. Just try to put one loop of ribbon in the top and one on the bottom of your three insert notebooks like I did here.

Tip: Use the embellishments from the collections. The 12*12 packs comes with many different amazing stickers that you can use to add more interest to your projects

Tip: Here and there you can see I added some microbeads from Finnabair to add some more texture on my layers, between the fussy cut elements and the chipboards. You can use whatever you have, beads, pearls, flakes, just be creative, and have fun.

Inside of the cover I created this gusset pockets to be a little different than the original pocket that comes with this travel albums, what do you think of this idea?

I hope you liked my project, I had a lot of fun, this travel albums are so easy to use, and the collections looks even more amazing on top of this awesome black albums.

So follow me in this Youtube video tutorial, so you can decorate your Travel Album!!
