Tiny Mini Album Tutorial

Hello, G45ers!

It is a beautiful day to learn a new DIY Album technique using our Policy Envelope die.  With this step by step tutorial Shannon Hannah will teach you how to create 5 Tiny Beach Mini Albums.  Shannon didn’t stop with the albums and also created the most adorable coordinating box to hold these tiny albums.  We encourage you to grab your papers and create along with us today.

“My name is Shannon Hannah. I’m happily married to a wonderful, loving man, and the proud mother of one amazing little boy. Being Asher’s mother has made me realize what unconditional, eternal love really is.

My sixth grade art teacher, Ms. Jerris Palmer, inspired my love of art. She recognized and helped cultivate my talent for design. Without her guidance, I would not be where I am today.

I love to take seemingly mismatched objects and turn them into something beautiful. My passions are helping other people discover their creative mind and showing them how they can express it. My best advice for any artist is this: In art (and crafting IS art), there is no “right” or “wrong” way. Being happy with your creation is all that matters.

5 Tiny Beach Mini Albums

By Shannon Hannah

Hello, Graphic 45 Fans! I am excited to share my first project as part of the 2021-2022 Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador Team! The June challenge was to create a “selfie” – a self-portrait project that reflects my style uses my favorite paper medium, and to showcase my current go-to technique. My favorite techniques are layering and combining different ideas into one.

When I get a new G45 collection the first thing I do is lay each page out on a table so I can see the entire collection the same time. As I look at the collection I start thinking about what I can make that will best compliment the paper. My goal is to make a unique piece of art that you just want to look at.

With the Catch of the Day paper I made a beautiful little multilayered nautical scene, but if you look closer the nautical scene are tabs to five mini albums tucked in a gorgeous matching box.” ~Shannon
