Unusual Romantic Frame – Mixed Media

“I’m not gifted with the mixed media style, so I tried to do something easy and make use of a leftover from a previous wood wall project. I used the beautiful collection Elegance, and I’m in love with the result.

What do you need?

A piece of wood (3 ¾” x 11”) You may use another size, this is only a reference that I did.

Also you need a couple Ephemera cards, flowers, some embellishment, a piece of paper with the same measurements of the wood and the Graphic 45 back cardstock of the Ephemera cards.

Tear the paper as shown, ink the edges and adhere it to the wood. Stamp the paper with a letter stamp (use any one).

Take a piece of tulle and wrap it around the bottom side of the wood and make a knot.

Add the Card shown in the picture above to a piece of chipboard, then, add it to the wood

Trim the second card as shown in the picture above (only the flowers of the corner), then, add it to a piece of chipboard (only the edges).

Trim the Graphic 45 cardstock (3 ½” x 5 ¼”)

Insert the corner below the flowers and add it to the Ephemera Card, then, place a chipboard embellishment piece to the bottom with a couple brads.

Add the ephemera cards with the photo mat to the first card, as shown. Add the flowers to the left side of the cards. Finally, place the metal embellishment on the top edge of the first Ephemera Card.

You may add a photo or maybe an inspirational Quote, also, you may place this unusual frame close to the wedding guest book. These are only some ideas about how to use it.
