Graphic 45 Elegant Tags Tutorial
By Sandi Nagel
“Hello, G45ers!
Hi friends! In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you how you can create a beautiful and elegant scrapbook, gift or decorative tags using metal dies, paper, and embellishments by Graphic 45.
We’ll be using the clock die from the Graphic 45 Square Tag and Clock Die-set, and the tag metal-die from the Graphic 45 Regular Tag and Gears Die-Set.
Our tag inserts are made from the Graphic 45 A Ladies’ Diary Deluxe Collection, coordinating card stock for our frame and a Graphic 45 Regular Tag in Ivory.
We die-cut 2 coordinating inserts and trim the tops off at 2″.
We trim our frame die-cut to about half, then snip off any extra flourishes that may show after our inserts are glued down.
We then glue our topper right along the edge of our tag. This will give it that tiara effect.
Then we can glue down our coordinating inserts.
Now we are ready to embellish our tags. We use our chipboard pieces from the Graphic 45 Ladies’ Diary Deluxe Collection and we use the Clearsnap Graphic 45 Antiquing Dye Ink, in Dark Cashmere, to ink around the edges.
Glue down your chipboard frame and use pop-dots to add dimension to your insert.
We’re going to make a flower pot using one of the Graphic 45 Antique Brass Door Pulls.
Tip: I’ve found that the Artist Glitter Glue works the best for adhering metal to paper. If you use a hot-glue gun for this part, you run the risk of your metal piece eventually falling off.
Last, we add our flower embellishments from the Graphic 45 Rose Bouquet Collection, and we are done.
The Finished Tags
Here’s a couple of pictures that show you all the details.

Princess Box & Mini Album
By Sandi Nagel
We recently had the pleasure of meeting Sandi Nagel in person at Creativation 2019. She is just as sweet and wonderful in person, and too kind by gifting us this beautiful Princess Box and Mini Album. While Sandi was in the Graphic 45 booth we took the opportunity to do a Facebook Live video where she walks us through each of her projects. During the video, she promised us a video tutorial for the album, and I am excited to deliver those tutorial videos below.
