Beach Explosion Box

“Hello!

This is my last post on the Graphic 45 blog. I am very happy that I could spend this year in such a wonderful company, work with beautiful products and share my projects with you. As a goodbye, I made a box, in the theme closest to my heart.

This is the exploding box – a box that can be a great storage for a small gift, a way to make wishes, as well as a gift in itself. This project was created from two of my favorite collections – By the Sea – Deluxe Collector’s Edition and Sun Kissed. Both of these collections play beautifully together.

I wanted this project to be simple to repeat so that it could be done without a lot of products. You need papers, white paint or gesso, a piece of string, gauze, and a few shells.

I prepared the paper for all the walls first,  distressed it, and glued all layers with foam tape. Thanks to this, everything took on volume and spaciousness. I like this effect very much.

To get the effect, as if the box was lying somewhere in the sand on the beach, I used small pebbles, shells, and gauze. It all makes the whole has this maritime character.

I have prepared a video for you – be inspired! Create your boxes on your favorite theme.” ~Kasia
