Dreamland Greeting Card Tutorial
Hello, Graphic 45 crafters!
Today I am sharing with you a dimensional greeting card made with a beautiful Dreamland paper collection.
The idea to create something with these papers has been on my mind for a long time. I was deciding between an album and a card. Since I haven’t made a card in a while the decision was easy to make.
I enjoy making dimensional things. And as far as making cards is not any different.
Kids love colorful things, bright colors, and beautiful images. No papers could be more suitable for a child’s card than Dreamland papers.
Tip: To create certain pieces in my dimensional projects that I would like them to stand out, I will use chipboard to create them. Usually, I would glue two pieces of chipboard together to create a more 3D look. Take a frame for an example on my card. I would do the same when it comes to creating mats for Ephemera cards.
Tip: Your projects will always look more professional if you wrap chipboard pieces with cardstock, paper, or fabric. And you will also prevent the edges of chipboard pieces from damaging.
Don’t forget to watch my walkthrough video where I show you how to create this card with a very detailed step by step tutorial.
