“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it” Nelson Mandela once said and nothing can be truer for me at this time, as this month I have finally decided to share our art studio with you! It is hard to put ourselves out there, raw and real. Whether is it our art, or in this case our controlled chaos of a workspace, it is never easy to share and not feel a bit of anxiety. Nevertheless, it is my hope that seeing our personal working space you will get some storage ideas, inspiration, and a look at some of our lovely Graphic 45 products.

Our studio is a true work horse! It sees a great deal of use and work daily. We spend most of our waking hours in the studio. This is where my teen daughter and I create, homeschool, and run our full arts and craft online stores from…well partially, our store supplies and packaging are kept separate from our personal supplies. We carry thousands of products, so there would be no way to fit it all in one space, although that would be my ultimate dream, lol! So, although the store supplies are housed in a different location, we still make videos, put together classes, conduct our weekly Live YouTube sales, and regular business-like answering emails and such from this area. Like I said, it gets a lot of use! Our space is not “picture perfect” like some of those beautiful ones that we all drool over on Pinterest (maybe someday, we can all dream) Instead, it is practical, comfortable, and real.

In this space we have come up with storage solutions for our fabrics, laces, trims, paints, mix media supplies, ephemera, paper supplies, dies, stamps, tools, and all our Graphic 45 goodies. Organized and easily accessible our supplies are ready for creating. Hopefully the video walkthrough will bring some practical storage solutions and ideas.
