 Hello, G45ers!

Welcome back to our continued introductions of the 2017 Graphic 45 Brand Ambassadors! Today, it is our pleasure to introduce the talented Olga Heldwein. Olga is starting off her second year with us by sharing her beautiful and ambitious Art Journal. This journal features Communique - DCE and Enchanted Forest papers on our Staples Mixed Media Album - Kraft , along with a ton of other gorgeous details, mixed media flair, and lovely watercolors. Be sure to check out her YouTube video to get all the details on this crafty work of art.

"About me, coffee and choclate votary, night owl, walking chaos with flowers and glitter on top of it – yep it's me! Polish girl living in Germany with our small but loud family. I'm a scrapbooker and mixed media artist. Huge fan of messy works and dirty hands, enthusiast of steampunk and flowers, dimensional works and layers! I make classes and some video tutorials so if you want to know my techniques visit me on my blog or YT channel.

Art Journaling

By Olga Heldwein

In June we have been asked to introduce new things that we would like to explore with G45. For me it's an art journal. For a whole year, I had this amazing mixed media album. I was saving it for this amazing project and those super ideas of gorgeous pages I saw with the eyes of my imagination. I was so into this vision of a beautiful art journal, that I was too scared to start creating pages.  So with this challenge, I said "Enough," and just jumped in. I have to say that I really like this spread and it was fun to make it. If you are wondering about this project check out my video:

I was working straight on paper without primers. I was surprised by how good cardstock from the album behaved with water. As you can see in my video, we have different pages in this album. Some have cool pages. It is a really good base for art journaling.

All cut outs I had prepared before, as I like to watch movies and make cut outs or mold prints in the meantime.

I am disappointed in this new format for the G45 Blog. I really enjoyed the ease of reading your old blog entries. I don't find this new blog to be very inviting. I have been a devoted follower of your Blog for several years, always looking forward to the creative adventure that awaits my eyes. This new blog just is not inspiring me to want to read it.

Hi Martie, I hope you will give it a bit more time. It's hard when blogs change and are different but the content of the posts are the same I think with lots of great ideas and photos and inspiration. I like that you can see several of the different posts when you land on the blog page in case I've missed something during the week. Please don't leave us. As a designer for G45 I really hope you continue to follow along. I love reading your comments and now I think I can answer your comment directly if you have a question when I'm up on the blog and I really like that. ~Sandy (Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador)

This project is really beautiful and well made as always from you amazing girls. When that is sais, I must admit, I agree a bit with Martie above here in these comments. I´ve also been following for many many years, and I really really LOVE all your wonderful projects and awesome inspiration, but it´s really hard to find anything inhere since the new website aired. It looks great, that´s for sure, but really hard to navigate, and really hard to find an older entry, if you don´t remember exactly what you called it back then, and why is it, that suddenly we can´t click our own blogadresses into the box here anymore? The name and mail just pops up, when I just write the first letter, but I have to go and open my own blog to copy that adresse or write it all every time, and when I´m on one entry, I can´t just go from there to the next, but will have to go all out to your beginners page to find the next entry, if I´ve missed one yesterday f.ex.???
