DIY Gift Box

Tutorial by Sabaa Hassan

“Hello G45ers!

This is Sabaa and I welcome you to my beautiful world of creativity.

As we all know that creating a gift box is a delightful and personalized way to present our gifts. Whether it’s for a birthday, holiday, or special occasion, a homemade gift box adds an extra layer of thoughtfulness. So, lets create a beautiful gift box today. Here’s a step-by-step guide on making your own gift using Let’s Get Artsy 8×8 Collection Pack from Graphic 45

I just can’t hold my excitement enough to share the process. I have made a quick reel covering the making process. Before that let me share pictures of the end result.

Before starting the process let me share a template with you, this will help you in making and understanding the project properly.

#G45Reel

Now to begin let’s take a A4 size cardstock and fold it in half lengthwise and widthwise to get the center lines of paper. (Center line is shown with red color into the template, which is just for guidance)

Now fold the cardstock lengthwise and then fold the base (widthwise) as show in template and process reel. The base we have is 1.5 inches. Hence, we need to mark 1.5 inch from the folded line and then score diagonally as show in template with purple color.

Now fold and paste the top as shown is picture below.

Once done, paste the pattern paper of your choice from Let’s Get Artsy 8×8 Collection Pack

To create the top part of gift box, I took cardstock of 3.5” by 7” and folded it in half lengthwise. I have cut both the end of this folded cardstock using punch tool and decorated it using pattern paper.

Now I have pasted one side of fold to the base we prepared before.

Its time to decorate the gift box as per your choice, I have used some cordinating fabric flowers to decorate my gift box.

And here is our Gift Box ready. It is a absolutely vibrant, easy and fun project to work. This techniques you can follow and make your gift boxes using different pattern papers from Graphic 45.

Hope you liked today’s project. Do create this exciting project and make sure to tag your creations to Graphic 45, so that we can find them on social media.”

Thank you for stopping by.”

Lots of Love, Sabaa
