#SimplyG45: 4 Portrait of a Lady Card Video Tutorial

Hello, G45ers!

Welcome! Today, we have a fast feature for your fabulous Friday. Elena Olinevich is here to share a picture perfect #SimplyG45 card set with us. Elena's cards are simple and elegant. Through the careful selection of paper sheets and thoughtful use of layers with minimal embellishments, she is able to come up with four unique designs that display her talent and the beauty of the paper itself. Creating multiple designs with a similar template is a great way to increase variety, while still maintaining the ability to produce a greater volume of Portrait of a Lady cards-perfect for invitations to or give away at large events. Check out her YouTube video for a complete walk through of her process. Also, be sure to stick around until the end to find out who this week's lucky randomly chosen blog prize winner is!

Portrait of a Lady is a perfect collection if you would like to create something vintage and feminine.

I guess that creating simple cards is quite easy with this collection. You don’t need to make them complicated and busy with the embellishments. All you need is just a few paper layers and die cuts.

I created 4 cards, using almost the same elements but with the different papers. I have already shared this idea earlier, but this time I wanted to focus on the paper as the main eye-catching detail. The only thing I never miss in my cards is the foam pads or cardboard leftovers that I used to mount my paper layers.

You don’t need to add flowers indeed, however a few small flowers will add more delicacy to your cards.

I filmed the process while creating one of my cards. You can see that it’s quite easy to recreate, and you do not need a lot of time for it. Actually, what can take your time is picking only the most appropriate paper layer.” ~Elena Olinevich
