Hello, G45ers!
Today marks our penultimate Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador introduction and we are wrapping up with some incredible creations. Pam Bray is here to tell us a little more about herself and show you her latest fascination in the form of a mixed media canvas featuring, A Ladies' Diary – DCE. Pam provides careful instructions to get you started on a path towards mixed media magic!
Pam Bray
“Hi Graphic 45ers!!! Pam Bray here, and I am so excited to be part of the 2017-2018 Graphic 45 Grand Ambassadors!!!
I fell in love with all things crafty when I was a child and learned how to knit my very first dishcloth with my grandmother. I was hooked on making stuff at that moment! I was amazed to see how a single piece of yarn could create something beautiful. As you can see, I have fallen head over heel in love with Graphic 45 products. I get so excited when I can use pieces of paper, some glue, maybe some other crafty items to create something special. I started my paper designing almost 20 years ago when our first grandson was born. Each day my paper designing evolves into something more that I love. I would call my style anywhere from CAS to the extreme, over the top, and out of the box.
I live just outside of Memphis, TN with my husband Cal. We recently retired…so I have lots of time to create. We love to travel and have a small travel trailer…I load her up and craft on the road, lol. I love to have a cold Diet Coke and hard candies nearby when I create. I like to have a TV on when I create, I am not sure why since I rarely watch it but enjoy the noise more than anything.
Fun Facts:
I am a tole painter. I have started painting and recently took a fun mixed media class. I am now dabbling around with mixed media and think I have found a new passion.
My studio is always an organized mess, but I love it. Another fun fact, and don’t be shocked on this one…I always clean up my studio between projects….I know it there are gasps. LOL, but like I said, I have an organized mess!
I am active on my blog, where I have tutorials available for you to view several times a week. I also share on other media sites. I am so thankful and honored to be on several design teams, have my work featured in magazines, at CHA, on HSN, etc. I would love for you to stop by Scrapbook Flair/Pam Bray Designs.
A Ladies Diary Mixed Media Canvas
with Tutorial By Pam Bray
“Hello, everyone! Are you as excited as I am when you find something new, something you are just clueless about! Recently I was in Florida and went into a fun scrapbook store to shop. Well, my eyes gazed upon the Finnabair Mica Powders…you know the feeling you get, your hands start twitching, and you start doing a happy dance in your being, and all you can think about is how to use it. Well, that was me! I had to have some, I needed to try it… so that is what I did for you today. BUT I was a bit nervous, so I watched a video, you know to see how to use my new-found mica, and the rest is just the beginning of my story. I am sharing with you today A Ladies’ Diary Mixed Media Canvas using the mica in both a spray and a mix with gesso.” Hugs Pam Bray
