Art Journaling with G45 Brand Ambassador Olga Heldwein

Welcome back to our continued introductions of the 2017 Graphic 45 Brand Ambassadors! Today, it is our pleasure to introduce the talented Olga Heldwein. Olga is starting off her second year with us by sharing her beautiful and ambitious Art Journal. This journal features Communique – DCE and Enchanted Forest papers on our Staples Mixed Media Album – Kraft , along with a ton of other gorgeous details, mixed media flair, and lovely watercolors. Art Journaling

In June we have been asked to introduce new things that we would like to explore with G45. For me it's an art journal. For a whole year, I had this amazing mixed media album. I was saving it for this amazing project and those super ideas of gorgeous pages I saw with the eyes of my imagination. I was so into this vision of a beautiful art journal, that I was too scared to start creating pages.  So with this challenge, I said "Enough," and just jumped in. I have to say that I really like this spread and it was fun to make it. If you are wondering about this project check out my video:

I was working straight on paper without primers. I was surprised by how good cardstock from the album behaved with water. As you can see in my video, we have different pages in this album. Some have cool pages. It is a really good base for art journaling.
