Raining Cats & Dogs Reveal Party
Cat Album
By Sandy Trefger
“The return of the Raining Cats and Dogs collection as a Deluxe Collector’s Edition was very exciting for many pet lovers, myself included. The collection is perfect for both cats and dogs but what if you only have one or the other and not both? You can still use this beautiful collection for just cats or just dogs. My family and I are cat lovers. We have cats inside the house and outside as well as a combination of in and out. We’ve recently fostered some kittens and a feral cat. For a Christmas party at our local organization that fosters cats and where we volunteer, I needed a gift and decided to create this Cat Album. It turned out perfect! So if you are a cat person only or a dog person only, don’t hesitate to create a project or two for yourself or some other pet lover with this wonderful collection.
Tip: If you don’t want all the images on the paper for your project (for example for this cat album I did not need any dog images), fussy cut out the images that you do want or layer over the parts of the image you don’t need (such as the dogs & puppies) with fussy cut flowers. It’s also good to use flowers, lace and ribbon to hide images that don’t apply to you.

Fun Facts:
I’ve always loved animals and have had a great assortment of pets over the years including a horse, pig, dogs, many cats, birds, rabbits, a chicken and possums. (Yes, possums that I bottle fed.)
I had great enjoyment creating this mini album and hope to create a video tutorial on how I made it in the near future and will post it on my blog. I just need some extra time during this busy season but if you are interested don’t hesitate to contact me.
Happy Crafting!
