Hello, G45ers!

 Happy Friday Crafters!  Just in time for some the weekend we have an absolutely fabulous Craft Studio Tour – craft corner edition with Olga Heldwein.  This video tour is amazing, especially for those who are limited on space, you are going to love how Olga turned a corner of her bedroom into a crafters paradise.  To go along with this tour we also wanted to share a few of our favorite projects that Olga has created in her space.  But first, we have this week's blog contest winner to announce…

Craft Studio Tour

“I do not own separate room for crafts. I have a corner in our bedroom and opposite corner belongs to my husband. He is an artist so some supplies are on His side as we share them and I can save some space as I do not have much of it.
I also like to have all stuff intransparent container to able to see what I have. If I do not see an item I do not use it. So I need to destash often as I like to try new supplies. It’s a really good way for me to sell and giveaway supplies and tools that I do not use anymore or not so often.

I also clean my craft corner after each work and I try to tidy as I go.” ~Olga

Mixed Media Cards

“Today is my turn on simply G45. I decided to create cards with mixed media backgrounds and some fussy cutting. It gave me also chance to take the Seasons collection for nice spin 🙂 I really adore this collection it gives you so many possibilities.  I so regret that I didn't make all 4 card seasons as set but maybe next time 🙂

Vagabond Box

“Today I prepared an altered piece. I used French Country – Collector’s Editon. It’s a great vintage collection with lots of country themed images and amazing patterns. It has a super user-friendly collection palette and you can create tons of different projects with this one. As Easter is coming I would like to mention that this one will be perfect for vintage Easter and spring-themed creations.

 

I really love how this piece tuned out but I had a bit of struggle with this project – like we all do sometimes. I didn’t give up only because I didn't want to waste papers as they fit me perfectly.

Recently, G45 came out with 3 new shades.  I created a whole video about those inks.
