Craft Room Tour

By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta

“Hello everyone,

So today i invite you to take a look into my Craft Room. Well first, let me tell you i love this space but, in the beginning, when i started with scrapbooking i didn’t have this space. I remember to use my table on my bedroom, I couldn’t leave projects on the table or untidy material as I felt the whole room was looking untidy.

Now i have an entire room for my stuff, the ideal would be the whole house, but it is not possible ahahah!! Of course i am always changing the place of some things in order to achieve the best in order to get a more practical and simple space for me to organize and work.

I also have the the best antique furniture to keep my graphic 45 collections, was used and bought second hand. It’s perfect because it has several drawers so i can keep all the collections within reach. Some collections are now by themes because i have some papers and accessories that are always left over between projects. You can see better on my craft room tour youtube video, in the end of this post.

As you can see i always have projets all around my craft room, i love them so much!!

In the picture i have my skadis from Ikea, where i store many things, including some of my beads and ribbons. I also have some shelves with paints and mixed media materials.

Here you can see another kallax unit where i store more of the collections from graphic 45, because i also buy and resell here in Portugal.

The staples are all in the same place very easy to access, here you can see albums the new box for travel albums next to a travel album ready to use. The new clips, clocks and handles, and also more pearls.

I am also using my dies, so here i have them on the wall on a board with magnet sheets, easy to access. Some of them are closer to me because are the ones i use the most, the regular tag, the flowers, the sentiments.

More of my projects all around my craft room!! I love to make space for them here and there, with different color scheme to create some harmony…

Here i have an old old tag with the collection Portrait of a Lady, that you can find now in Deluxe Collector’s Edition version. A gorgeous collection to use, so elegant and with beautiful colours and designs, don’t you miss that now!!

Here i have some older chipboards that i used to store in mini drawers next to me, now i have so many i have them on the big drawers next to everything from each collection.

As you can see, I try to use things that i love out of my drawers, not because i don’t have space for them, but because those things inspire me and give me that look of comfort that i love. Like this yarns, and my pencil holders, i love the colours, the texture… i think your space has to show what you are and what you want to feel.

I hope you feel inspired with my tips and my space. I know it’s not a super organized space at all, but it’s my space and I love it!! Just have a look on my video Craft Room Tour below and please leave me some nice comments and also suggestions how to improve it!

Check how the boxes i decorate with graphic 45 papers and ephemera assortment!

They look amazing with only blues and whites!!

Even the tiny details make this boxes look great, don’t you think? You can had a lot of decoration or little, so you can stack this boxes one on top of the other!!

Look this two together with the new graphic 45 beautiful trims!!

For the second box i did add some details from the Nutcracker Sweet Deluxe Collectors Edition, because i love the ballet dancers and i realize they match with some of the papers from Let it Snow collection.

The snow flakes in blue are from the ephemera assortment pack of Let it snow collection, they are so beautiful and match perfectly with the ballet dancer.
