DIY – Autumn Musical Centerpiece

Hello, G45ers!

Crafting is music to our ears, sometimes literally! Today we have Lena Astafeva here with her Enchanted Forest Musical Decoration. This lovely, custom music box has been creatively combined with imagery from the paper collection and a variety of embellishments to create a classic fairy tale scene. "This work seem to be difficult but it's not so at all!I'll tell you my secret. The  main details is a real musical mechanism. And for it I made a box.  I take the musical mechanism. I make  a base.  I pasted it with paper. I’m making a hole for the mechanism. I inserted the mechanism. I make another base. And I put it on top of the mechanism. Decorate the composition with flowers, and fussy cut images." ~Lena

Santa’s Toy Shop

In my childhood I wished to be in the magic to shop. I believed that existed the world where toys could talk and move. That’s why I looked on the shop windows very carefully. Now I like tiny toy shops. So, I decided to make one on my own. It’ is made of. From the outside it looks like a shop. Inside there are toys and different things on the door from one side.  On the other side there is our family photograph and musical mechanism. I love musical toys very much. Let the magic be with us forever. You should believe in miracles. " ~Lena
