“Hello friends and welcome to another art project. Today I am sharing with you how I altered an ordinary frame shadow box into an amazing craft storage.

Be sure to check the video out. Below, I’ll walk you through the process and share some tips along the way.

Step by Step Tutorial:

1- After assembling the shadow box, it felt a bit shaky and so, I added some glue between the parts for extra sturdiness.

2- Now the fun part starts. First to cover the frame and the sides I decided to use the amazing baby2bride papers. Nothing gives a great vintagy look like this paper collection. So I measured the frame edges and cut the papers accordingly.

Tip: To adhere the papers on the wooden edges, do not use a glue gun because you will end up with a bumpy surface. A multi-medium (or any liquid) glue is your best option in this case.

3- A vintage look is never complete without distressing the edges. So I distressed all the edges using vintage photo distress ink. Beautiful !!!

4- For extra embellishment, I added small a flower cluster on each corner of the shadow frame box

5- Finally, I felt my decorated shadow box was missing something. So I glued four feet claws for a more elegant look. Perfect.
