Hello, G45ers!

 Welcome to another creative week on the Graphic 45 blog.  Today we have not one but two amazing projects by our Special Project Designer, Maria Cole.  First, we are kicking this post off with our weekly blog contest.  Following that announcement, we have tag card starring our Imagine collection and our Die-Cut Tag Staples.  Last but not least we have a stunning Seasons Home Decor Mini Album/Frame. Let's get this party started!

Maria Cole – USA

 

“Hi! I’m Maria and I'm a Pacific Northwest native and Special Projects Designer for Graphic 45.

At home, I wear many hats: mama to my new baby boy Asher, doggy-sitter, and of course, papercrafter! It was through seeing out-of-this-world creations made with Graphic 45 paper that started my obsession with papercrafting in 2011. Since then, I’ve taught many classes using the latest Graphic 45 paper and Staples. And in 2013, my ultimate crafty dream came true when I made the 2013-2014 Graphic 45 Design Team!

 

Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of designing monthly projects for the G45 community as a Special Projects Designer. It's a been a wonderful opportunity to get to know my fellow teamies better and to create fun projects with the newest Graphic 45 collections!

 

I love creating a variety of projects from intermediate projects to whimsical CHA creations.  Papercrafting and scrapbooking have brought me such joy and it’s my hope to inspire others to discover that same joy by playing with pretty paper!

 

Imagine Square Tag Card

 

Graphic 45 Staples are so fun to design with. I made this simple card with Graphic 45’s gorgeous new steampunk line, Imagine. So naturally, that called for a coordinating “Imagine” square tag! These tags have so many uses and they’re especially fun to add to cards. The sky is really the limit with what you can do with them!

Seasons Photo Stand

 

I love projects that have multiple purposes, like this altered photo stand I designed for a special class I taught. Not only does it contain several pages to add photos and memories, but it also doubles as a home decor piece through every season of the year! The Seasons paper line was the perfect backdrop for this versatile project.
