#G45 Reel: Friends are Flowers Note Card

“Hey Everyone!

I’m thrilled to be back on the blog this month sharing these vintage Friends are Flowers Note Card that features the Grow with Love Collection.

Step by Step Instructions:

Cut a piece from the yellow stripe paper from the Grow with Love Patterns & Solids that measures 4 ½” x 5 ½”.
Cut a piece from the Plant Your Memories paper (pink dot side) that measures 4 ¼” x 5 ¼”.
Cut a piece from the Flower Child paper (green side) that measures 4” x 5”.
Cut a piece from the plain purple paper out of the Grow with Love Patterns & Solids that measures 3 ¾” x 4 ¾”.
Cut a piece from the pink flower paper out of the Grow with Love Patterns & Solids that measures 3 ½” x 4 ½”.
Choose three border strips from the Garden Club paper. Cut one border strip to 5”. Cut the second border strip to 5”.
Cut the third border strip to 4 ¾”.
Take out the green frame and friends are flowers from Grow with Love Chipboard Tags & Frames.
Take out the watering can with flowers from the Grow with Love Ephemera Assortment.
Sand the edges of all the pieces.
Tear the top and bottom of the pink dot paper as desired. Adhere to the yellow stripe paper.
Tear the top and bottom of the green paper to line up with pink dot paper. Adhere to the pink dot paper.
Tear the top and bottom of the purple paper to line up with the green paper. Adhere to the green paper.
Tear the top and bottom of the pink paper to line up with the purple paper. Adhere to the purple paper.
Staple the two 5” border strips as desired on the left hand side of the card front. Adhere the 4 ¾” border strip slightly overtop of the 5” border strips as desired.
Foam square the green frame all the way to the left and ⅝” from the bottom of the purple paper.
Foam square the watering can to the middle of the green frame.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the Friends quote to the bottom portion of the watering can and frame as desired.
Cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 4 ½” x 11”, score at 5 ½”. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Roll the edges of the torn papers as desired.
