Fairie Flip-it Game

By Clare Charvill

“Hi G45ers, are you a family of board game lovers? like we are.  I lifted an idea from a game we used to play with the boys and created a Fairie Flip-it version, all prettied up in papers from the stunning Fairie Dust collection.  I chose a mix of Patterns and Solids, Daisy Chain 12 x 12 papers and the feature image of the Fairie and poem from the 8 x 8 pad for the box, that measures, 9 1/4" x 6 7/8".  Green patterns and solids and one sheet of Dreamland 12 x 12 for the board and spotty patterns and solids/Tiny Toadstools 12 x 12 for the 64 handmade double-sided counters.” ~Clare

Believe In Magic Home Decor

By Katelyn Grosart

Hey G45 Fans! I don’t know about you, but I’ve been dreaming of Spring arriving soon. With Spring in mind, I set off and created my Believe In Magic Home Decor piece by altering a light switch plate using the Fairie Dust collection, Once Upon a Springtime – Deluxe Collectors Edition and some Shabby Chic Ornate Metal Brads. This piece will be perfect to add to any space in your home. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and enjoy the photos and tutorial of my Believe In Magic Home Decor Piece”.

Tip: Layer fussy cut flowers in with premade paper flowers, to create different texture and dimension.

Tip: To cover up the holes where you’d screw the light switch plate in, adhere a Shabby Chic Ornate Metal Brad overtop of each hole.

Tip: Use a Clear Glitter Wink of Stella Pen on the fairies wings.

Tip: Hide different elements in amongst the flowers to give the flowers some extra detail.
