[Gift Ideas] 3 Ways to Give Thanks

Hello, G45ers!

 Happy Friday crafty friends!  We are thrilled to share not one, but three amazing Fall gift ideas with you today, all by mastermind, Glenys Vidal.  Glenys has used our Seasons collection, and Artist Trading Tags to create a Thank You Card, Tag, and Treat Packaging all perfect for Thanksgiving or any upcoming Holiday event.  Following these 'Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice' projects, we announce the winner of this week's blog contest!  
 

Fall Treat Packaging and Thank You Card Ideas

“Hello G45ers, fall is finally here! As soon as the temperatures start dropping, I have the urge to stay home, start decorating the house for the holidays and bake treats to share with family and friends.

 

 

I love baking, especially during the fall. Every year I make pumpkin chocolate bread which is my most requested recipe. This year while shopping for my baking supplies, I noticed that the packaging in the store was not up to par and not at all what I wanted to give to my friends and family. So I decided to spruce it up a little bit.

 

 

I bought some simple treat bags and loaf pans from Michaels and used papers from the Graphic 45 Seasons collection to decorate them. With the leftover paper, I also made gift tags and thank you cards to match the treat bags.

 

 

In no time, I had all my boxes ready to hold all of my baked goodies.

 

 

I wanted to make matching tags to add to my boxes and this was so easy to do. I used the Graphic 45 ATC ivory tags and the cut apart images from the collection. I love how a simple handmade tag elevates the gift.

 

To finish my project I wanted to make some cards to have in hand. These cards will be handy to use during the whole season.

 

#G45Tip: Make extra tags and cards in advance, and have them ready to use before the busy Thanksgiving holiday weekend. They are great for adding to your hostess gifts!

 

 

For this card, in particular, I used layered papers from the collection, a cut from my silhouette as a title and fussy cut images that were mounted with foam tape to give them dimension.
