‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

Mini Album

By Jenn DuBell

“Hello Graphic 45 friends and fans! Today I am sharing my ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas handmade album. This is one of my favorite all time Christmas collections and I was so happy to see it released in a Deluxe Collector’s Edition!

This album measures 6” X 8” X 2 ½” and was done using a method called the “lay flat” by Tamra Merrill. Here is a link to the original tutorial for this method: Lay Flat Method. I have used regular-weight chipboard and kraft cardstock.

I have utilized all of the components available in this collection as well as some new old stash of the 6X6 original P&S.

Graphic 45 Supplies:

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas 12X12 DCE

Chipboard

Kraft cardstock

Red and Green cardstock

The inside front cover has a pocket with a photo matte tucked in and there is room for more with the ½” gusseted pocket. Page 1 has a fun flap with a tuck pocket and magnet closure using fussy cuts from the paper collection.

Pages 2 and 3 have tuck pockets and flap doors that open for a fun spread! These also have magnet closures.Page 3 is the cover to the first pocket page in the album and has a tabbed photo matte tucked inside.

Pages 6 and 7 open to a fun frame with a tuck feature and a pocket that holds 2 bi-fold mini cards created with cut-a-parts from the collection.

Pages 8 and 9 open to reveal embellished side pockets using fussy cuts from the paper. The clocks in this collection are just gorgeous and I have used them throughout this album!

Page 10 has a fun fold out that is concealed under the photo matte. There is a fun belly band using a border and a couple fun small inserts. Page 11 is the cover of the second pocket page in the album and has a mirrored look to page 6 with the fun frame and tuck spot elements. There is a tabbed photo matte inserted in the pocket page.

Page 12 is a mirror of page 1 with the fun flap element using magnets with those gorgeous clocks! The inside back is also mirrored to the front.

Lastly, we cannot forget the back and spine of this beautiful Christmas album! For the decorating, I have again utilized fussy cuts and chipboard pieces.

If you are a lover of traditional styled Christmas papers like me this is definitely the right collection for you!

Thanks so much for viewing my project today!

Happy papercrafting everyone!” – Jenn
