Graphic 45 2020-2021 Brand Ambassador

My name is Melissa Merritt and I live in Orange Park, Florida, just south of Jacksonville. I am engaged to a wonderful man. Our wedding was recently postponed due to our global situation, but have moved it to next year, and I can’t wait. We do not have any kids, but want them. Until then, we are enjoying our niece and nephew.

I am a paper crafter and love creating projects, mini albums, tags, cards, etc. I would love to be doing this full time, but I work at a law firm as a paralegal, which keeps me busy.

I have always been a crafty girl, but got into paper crafting about 10 years ago, which is about the time I discovered Laura Denison, Mini Albums and Graphic 45. Laura was a Graphic 45 Ambassador in 2011-2012 and 2014-2015, and I loved watching her and making her projects. With the help of my fiancé pushing me out of my comfort zone, I started making my own projects and albums. About 7 years ago I created my website, www.webofcreativity.net and my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/webofcreativity424 where I post all of my projects and video tutorials. It has been a fun journey and I am so excited that my journey led me to Graphic 45 and becoming a Brand Ambassador.

Hook-N-Ladder Mini Album

For my “Self-Portrait” project, I made a project that reflects my style and favorite paper medium. I created this Hook-N-Ladder Mini Album. I love creating mini albums, designing them, and making interactive pages. For this project, I used Graphic 45 Farmhouse paper collection. I love the look and feel of this paper collection and of course, the plaid papers are my favorite. A great element of this collection is the chalkboard quotes. This mini-album is 6 ½ x 8 ½” pocket and tag style album. I also added black and white photographs of myself that I think go great with these papers.
