Graphic 45 Le' Romantique Folio Secretary
By Sandi Nagel
“Hello, G45ers! Today I'm sharing a folio secretary that I made using the Graphic 45 Le' Romantique paper collection.
I enjoy making folios that offer different types of functions. The idea behind this folio was to make something that held 8 ½ x 11 papers in place, along with cards and other handy items.
The front of this folio is embellished with Graphic 45 staple items. On opposite corners, you’ll find a cluster of flowers that are embellished with Graphic 45 metals and black fabric flowers from my stash.
I’ve also used the Graphic 45 metal corner pieces on the front cover, and I glued down some Graphic 45 Matte Pearl Gems on top of these corner pieces.
I also used the Graphic 45 clock die to die-cut the beautiful ornate piece that you see on the center of this folio.
I used an envelope maker to make two envelopes to use as inside pockets to my folio. I also die-cut small decorative pieces, in gold cardstock, using the small ornate corner die in the Graphic 45 Clock and Tag die-set. I glued the pieces on the envelopes and topped them off with Graphic 45 black Matte Pearl Gems.
Tip: Use scraps from your Graphic 45 chipboard to use for elevation, when a dimensional effect is desired.
Folios are some of the easiest projects to make. Whether you make one in a mini album style or something for your desk or office, you’ll appreciate the versatility that a handmade folio gives you. I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your very own personalized folio, using your items from Graphic 45.
Until next time. Happy paper crafting!” ~Sandi
