#G45LeveledUp – Stair Step

“Hi everyone! This is Linh (@LVHandcrafted) and today I am going to level up a card kit from earlier this year – G45 Card Kit – Vol 04 – 2022 – Stair Step Card Set . I quite literally raise the center step so it is taller than the side steps. In my video below, I make two cards with the Let It Snow collection. This is such a versatile collection. It’s amazing that you can use traditional red and green but also go more winter themed with frosty blues. Wonderful!

Below, you’ll find a template for how to cut and score the center stepper cards that I make in my tutorial video. I’ve designed this card to showcase the G45 ATC tag in that center step. The added bonus is the tag is removable and is actually a gift on its own! These cards also fold down nicely and fit into a US A2 size envelope. You’ll also find in my tutorial an easel stand which keeps your stepper standing upright and proud.

P.S. If you want to see how I arrived at these numbers, you can watch the first half hour of this video on my YouTube Channel. I explain how to determine where to put the score lines so it all folds down nicely. This way, you can customize the height of the steps to fit your aesthetic.

TIP OF THE DAY!

Adding a tag to a card is a beautiful, decorative touch and something a little different. However, you take it up a notch and make the tag a little gift that can be detached from the card and actually used!
