Mini Album with Shadow Box

“Welcome to my project post for July. This month we have been inspired to create a summer themed project. I decided to continue with my love for mini albums and created this beautiful 8.5 x 8.5 mini album from scratch using the Sun Kissed – Collector’s Edition.

I love dimension and wanted to add a shadow box to the cover. I did this by using a Shadow Box Die.I then fussy cut elements from various papers and added some shape to the flowers using a shaping stylus.

Adding acetate to the front of the shadow box really shows off the elements.

The inside front cover I have a waterfall secured in with a Belly Band and that Journal Card has a magnet in it to keep it all secure. And like my first mini album, I created side pockets to allow you to add pull out side photo mats.
