2023-2024 Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador

“My name is Phoebe Tonosaki, I was born in Hong Kong, and moved to Japan since I get married to a Japanese on 2004. I live in a rural town 2 hours away from Tokyo. I was born and raised in the middle of a big city, so life in this quiet and eventless town has been dull and boring. Then one day I found mixed media through a Facebook friend, and since then I have been in the crafting “rabbit hole”!

At the beginning, I started with off-the-page altered art projects because they looked really cool. I enjoyed working with various medium on not just 3D surfaces, but also flat surfaces like canvas and layout. After a while, I met different artists and mentors in my journey, and I have come to love doing paper albums, junk journals, and pop-up techniques.

I very much appreciate and treasure the past year being Graphic 45 brand ambassador. It was a valuable experience working with such a seasoned and renowned brand. It was indeed challenging to provide inspiration, education, information and perspective to the Graphic 45 audience, I am hoping I will be doing better, and even more aggressive in this coming year in the sense of providing lovely, easy and fun projects.

I am so excited to start my second year with Graphic 45 and you all!

Folio Album Tutorial

Hello everyone, this is Phoebe Tonosaki. I am thrilled to be chosen as G45 ambassador again for another year. I want to take this chance to thank you for those who liked, commented, shared and gave a thumbs up to my projects last year. I hope you will continue to support me this year!

For my first project as ambassador 2023 – 2024, I am going to show you a project that reflects myself as a paper crafter, and the style that I like.

I love albums and folios. Especially folio that is easy to make and easy to store, which also provides a lot of flexibility. This was a project I created to apply for the auction for this ambassador call. I was asked a few times for the tutorial and here you go!

I intentionally chose two different collections for this project. Though different, they are very much alike and have similar color tones that work well with each other.
