Surprise and delight with these fun pop-up Flexi Cards by Aya El. Aya has created a bold and beautiful Mother’s Day card with our Let it Bee papers and a Wild & Free Father’s Day card, watch them come together in the video tutorial below. These card were created with a metal die, but could easily be done with a card base, just cut the back panel of the card base short an inch or so, create some tabs on the right side of the front panel, and some slits to the back, and ta-da! With Mother’s Day just around the corner we would love to see your handmade gifts and cards, share them on our Instagram using the #Graphic45 hashtag!
Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Cards
By Aya El
“Hello everyone, this is Aya again with another G45 project.
I am sharing a fun and unique card to make. It’s called a Flexi card.
Let’s start with the Father’s Day card. I dropped the sentiment into the larger card front die and cut it out, along with the back die from design papers (Wild & Free) by Graphic 45. To assemble the card, I put the front layer has a long tab on the left that gets glued to the back. That’s it. After that, decorate however you like. I foam mounted the Giraffe to give some dimension.
For the Mother’s Day card, I also used Let it Bee paper by G45. It’s all about sunflowers and bees, perfect for mothers!
The assembly of the card is the same, overlap the flap and glue the back layer to the front. Then decorate. Easy Peasy!
Check my video tutorial to walk you through everything!” ~Aya
