Shaker Mini Album Tuotrial

Hello, G45ers!

Join us in welcoming Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, a real Scrapbooking professional, Linda Roos!  For Linda’s #G45Expression project she shares this extraordinary Shaker Mini Album complete with a video tour and TWO tutorials, one highlighting the album and the second showcasing the shaker element.  We absolutely love what Linda has created with our Voyage Beneath the Sea – Deluxe Collector’s Edition, but most of all we love that this mini album could be recreated using any paper collection.

Linda Roos – Sweden

2022-2023 Graphic45 Brand Ambassador

Hello everyone!

My name is Linda Roos and I am from Skåne, Sweden. I live with my husband, our two teenagers and a big cat. I have been crafting since my first baby arrived, it’s been 18 years now, time flies!

When I first started scrapbooking I made layouts but after a while I started making albums and I’m stuck. Crafting is making my soul whole, if I have a bad day I go into my room, it gives me strength. Crafting is full of opportunities and there are no restrictions on what you can do, just follow your imagination. Just like many of you I can’t get enough scrapbook papers, one day maybe I will use up my storage LOL, and Graphic45 papers is one of my favorites.

To be a part of the Graphic45 brand ambassador team for 2022-2023 is a journey I look forward to!

Voyage Beneath The Sea – Mini Album

By Linda Roos

My first project as an ambassador is a self-portrait. Among many other things I love colors, glitter and shakers. Because I mostly make albums it had to be a mini album with a big shaker on the front, which I think fits perfectly for the signature paper.

The album measures about 6 ¼ x 12 and has rounded edges at the top.

I used the papers to cut out different embellishments to decorate the front. Put some glossy accent and glitter glue to make the details pop. Some of the decorations I attached with foam tape to give it a 3D dimension.

The gears are from dies, but sometimes I use metal gears instead.

When it’s an image that is hard to cut like this octopus with all the tentacles you can cheat. You just have to find where you can cut off parts but still make it look complete. You can’t be too hard on yourself, make it work the way you like it.

  1. This is the only one on the website that I have made. Mine didn’t look as good, but I was very happy how mine turned out. Plus I made my first shaker item. I am hooked.
