Hello, G45ers!

Today we have Brand Ambassador Einat Kessler back with one of her famous one page wonders, this time featuring Nature Sketchbook. This clever creation can be made using just single sheets of Graphic 45 paper and a few scraps of chipboard. With just a little bit of planning, you have a beutiful #SimplyG45 gift box. This pattern can be used to create boxes from a variety of G45 collections to suit any occasion. Check it out below.

Hi dear crafty friends, Einat Kessler here with another One Page Wonder project! Since I made the One Page Wonder Mini Album a few weeks ago, I just can’t seem to stop! So, today I came up with another way to make a project from only one sheet of 12×12 paper.

For this project, I used the amazing Nature Sketchbook collection. It has so many beautiful images that I could cut out and use as embellishments on my little box. I layered the images and added chipboard underneath some of them to add extra dimension.

If you don’t have Nature Sketchbook papers don’t worry, because this project will be great with any Graphic 45 papers. As long as you have images to fussy cut, and in all G45 papers you do, You can create this box with any paper collection!

Tip #1: When fussy cutting, use sharp scissors. Instead of turning the scissors while you cut, turn the paper. That’ll make the cutting faster and more accurate.

It would be a great project to create for Halloween or Christmas, and you could hide a little gift inside! You can decorate it with skulls from the Master Detective collection, or Holiday elements from the St. Nicholas or Twelve Days of Christmas collections.

I’ve attached a sketch to help you know where to fold and where to cut so you can create this easy and fun box too!

Tip #2: When working with a sketch, first try everything on a piece of paper, and after you are sure you know what to do, create your project on the patterned cardstock. Use a Trimmer or craft knife and ruler for accurate cuts and a bone folder for crisp and burnished folds.
