Spotlight: Madga Cortez’s G45 Planner Video Tutorial

Hello, G45ers!

Thanks for joining us today as we celebrate one more Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador. We are pleased to introduce the excellent international teacher and fabulous fussy cutter, Magda Cortez. Magda is an extraordinary talent and has a great eye for details on her projects. First, she will tell you a little more about herself and then she will share a beautiful planner that features all variety of G45 papers. "My Name is Magda Cortez, living in Encinitas, CA. I have one daughter who is married, no kids, but 2 little dogs.. I love to travel and ..Yes!!.. I’m the queen of moving! I have moved maybe 9 times in the past 3 years.. I don’t like moving..more when you are scrapbooker! I still have 2 storage spaces in El Centro, CA and one is full of scraproom boxes.. I just take a deep breath and try not to think …. I have been scrapbooking since 2008 and little by little I discovered my style.. I love fussy cutting and I love all the details I found in the Graphic 45 papers. I do scrapbook classes in Mexico, Colombia, Spain, and here in San Diego, CA.
 

Fun Facts:

• I clean my scraproom before I start a new project, but sadly it just lasts a few minutes and later on is a complete mess!

• I love potato chips (Lays is my favorite brand).. Sometimes their are part of my diet .. I lose weight so easy. People says you gain weight with potato chips..but I don’t think potato chips work for me,. Anyways they’re so good!

• I like quiet.. No music, no TV, just me and my papers!

  
My year on the Graphic 45 Design Team has been fabulous, with wonderful experiences and memories I’ll keep forever!! Graphic 45 inspires me to create.  Their designs are unique and they always have the perfect collection for the perfect occasion.. Graphic 45 makes my dream come true, and I want to thank to the Graphic 45 Family for the opportunity to continue for another term as a Brand Ambassador. What a great honor!!

“Did you know Planners are the new trend in Scrapbooking? Woww.. a totally new world to explore! I’m so hooked onto planners now.. I have 5 different ones! Now to count: the Traveler planner, the Notebook Planner, the budget planner, you name it! But my favorite is now the one I just customize and called.. My G45 Planner 2017! Yes!!!!! A G45 planner! I love love the result!

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

I customize the covers with Vintage Hollywood Paper Collection.. It looks so elegant! It’s totally ME! Create 365- The Happy Planner has those laminated sheets perfect for creating your own covers!

TIP: 

Use small chipboards and make little bows of paper with a paper clips to embellish our planner.

 

Tip:

We always have stickers we never use in our projects.. Those are perfect to use with our planner! Instead of writing the name of the month we can use the stickers.
 

 

 

  

This is my first week before the pencil.. I’m using Cafe Parisian Paper Collection!

 

 

Basically, you don’t need a lot of other embellishments. We have everything to start our G45 Planner. We can use the tiny borders as a washi tape, the stickers to decorate, the chipboard to make paper clips. Ephemera tags and the tags & pockets, we can use it to decorate our pages… and the best!! .. We can use a different collection every month and every week!
